Oh my god... So many photos!
Why did I save photos for three years?!
Kids, this is a 'what not to do'.

Holy crap.... I have so mony digital photos of items I could post one item a day a three photos an item and be fine for at least one year. Probably two years. That's not counting duplicate takes on items. I have some in sunlight and some not in any kind of good lighting. None if them are labeled. I was lucky and took photos of their marks and a lot I can ID but... Holy crap. Lesson of the day. When taking photos of your items keep brands and sets together. It makes life so much easier. At the last estate sale I went to I saw this wonderful cabinet. I have no idea when it was made or who made it. Sadly at $300 I could not get it even though it would have been perfect for my house. It was about six feet long, four feet high and two feet deep. It was in the garage and holding your generic garage paints and things, yet in almost pristine condition. It only had some alligator crackle in its finish which is supposed to be easy to fix. No idea how I could have gotten it home. One day. X3 This is to test if I can only post new blog posts. Weebly seems to not acknowledge my draft posts. The test tomatoes were delishious. Update: It was just the one post. Woot!! I found this wonderful desk at the habitat for humanity Saturday. I fell so in love with it! Sadly I had no place for it or I would have snatched it up. A cute little writers desk. With all kinds of slots for letter heads, seals, and envelopes! Maybe next time. X3 2-15-2025 Never knew what this was. A glass banana stand. Vintage depression glass in the crystal color. Bet it could be used for other foods. Or fancy soaps or towels. I might end up selling this as I have no fancy soaps or bananas. Or fancy banana soaps. I have no idea who the couple was that owned the home this estate sale was at... But they must have had some wonderful stories!! I can't express this enugh right now. I just realized I left an estate sale, from two weeks ago, with out one of my items. I either left it at check out or on the ground when I packed my car. I also don't know the house address or the estate companies name. Always pay attention!!! Thankfully I didn't put my wallet in the item!! :-( As far as color is concerned This is the complement to the set called Moon glow. I think it is called peach glow but I am not sure. 12 cups, bowl and stand were all in perfect condition. I will post better pics and more information after I stop bouncing around because I finally found this!!!! I spent way to much on these. But I love them. I also got a few other items that I will post later with better photos. This barrel is 100 years old. It is owned by Lincoln Mobing and Storage and it was one of their original barrels when they were reciving thins at the docks. Which was about 100's ago just after the company was founded. Again more about them will be posted later. |
