Hoosier Glass

In 1979 Syndicate Sales (A florist supply company who in 1946 introduced Aquapic.) started producing Hoosier Glass. This was their first non-plastic product. (per their site)

I have predominately seen clear and occasionally green vases.

There is a past listing on ebay for a purple Hoosier vase.  The seller said it was from the 40's - 50's... Which is confusing. I am wondering if Hoosier was a purchased company.
