Beware of Poshmark Scam BuyersSo first things first, NEVER CLICK ON LINKS!!!! We good on that? Good.
The first image is saying that the images didn't load. This is a scam. I saw another comment saying the same thing but I checked the listing on my computer and it loaded fine. It was my first listing and I was overwhelmed by the flood of Likes that it got. I wasn't expecting that. I made the mistake of actually sending pictures to the email for their profile. DON'T DO THAT! The email was a different name then the one on the profile. The name one the responding email message was also different. I should not have sent an email because now I'm getting more spam to my email. The next scam I got was the 'buyers' messaging that the item had sold yadda yadda. I was suspicious and panicking because if that was an auto message why was there nothing in the offers tab? I also couldn't find any real breakdown of step by step what happens on the sellers end because that would have solved my stress levels very fast. I got 4-6 of these in the first twenty minuets that my first listing was live. I am still getting some even an hour later. The message system is easy for the scammers to abuse like this. The only way to get rid of the comments on the item's listing is to make them as spam but this will not remove them from your News tab (News = updates) which is really annoying. FYI the buyer will never be telling you via a message on their bundle that the sale was completed. A real sale will show up in the sales tab. No site is going to give you multiple steps to accept an sale nor will they give the buyer a link to give to the seller to complete the purchase. Again, I was very surprised that there wasn't any info on what it looks like when you get a sale. No screenshots anyplace so if I ever get one I'll make a how to page with images. |
